Where can I buy The Great Gatsby eco-edition?
You can pre-order your eco edition of The Great Gatsby on our Kickstarter! After our Kickstarter, it will be available to order here on our website.
Do we publish original stories?
Our goal is to eventually offer contemporary authors the opportunity to publish their stories using our sustainable materials and printing methods. For now, we are focused on reprinting the classics using these methods while continuing to explore and expand what sustainable publishing can look like.
Where is our book printer located?
Our primary book printing facility is Hemlock Printers, located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Hemlock has a long-standing commitment to sustainability. Their dedication to the environment and use of renewable energy make them the perfect partner for us.
What is algae-based ink?
Algae ink from Living Ink Technologies is made by upcycling algae and other renewable biomass that would otherwise end up as agricultural waste and turning it into ink. This process is carbon-negative and provides a fantastic sustainable alternative to the industry-standard petroleum-based inks.
Which restoration project is Sunken Pages supporting?
We are supporting coastal ecological restoration projects through Seatrees. The first restoration project we're supporting is the San Elijo Watershed restoration project in Cardiff, California. For every copy of The Great Gatsby sold, 1 square foot of watershed restoration will be funded.
